What to expect from the workshop?

Join Estonian Voices for an inspiring vocal masterclass, perfect for singers of all levels. This award-winning a cappella sextet, known for blending jazz, classical, and folk, will teach participants the key techniques behind their signature sound. Led by artistic director Kadri Voorand, the session will focus on vocal harmonization, blend, rhythm, and phrasing. Participants will learn to create dynamic harmonies, explore vocal textures, and convey stories through music.

The class will also cover essential vocal skills like technique, pitch accuracy, and stage presence. With hands-on exercises and personalized feedback, attendees will even have the chance to sing alongside the group, gaining insight into ensemble singing and vocal improvisation.

Whether you're an experienced vocalist or just starting out, this masterclass offers practical tools and creative inspiration. Comments From SING's Previous School Workshops

SING! School Workshops have been called "life changing" by teachers.

“This is the second year we have attended the workshop and my students, once again, had a wonderful time and came away with new and lasting music knowledge and experiences. The quality of artists and performances were exceptional, as well as being both fun and informational...” -- Megan Wesley, Music Teacher, York Collegiate Institute

“The events that unfolded over the festival were truly life changing moments for my students. Thanks again for an amazing experience my students will never forget.” -- Christopher Uchida, Emily Carr Secondary School

“The SING! Festival Education Day was a great experience for the students. They had the opportunity to learn from world class artists as they took part in the workshops. The workshops were very engaging, interactive and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Some even stepping out of their comfort zone to sing in front of the workshop participants. The Q&A was a great chance for students to learn more about the music industry.”  - Abby Pierce, Teacher, Duke of Connaught School

We look forward to seeing you there!
